Kayaking and the Carmel Mission

On Friday we woke up, had breakfast at our B&B and then headed to Moss Landing (about 25 minutes north of Monterey) to go kayaking at the Elkhorn Slough which is a sanctuary for seals, sea otters and birds. I don't have pictures of this because I didn't bring my camera along on the kayak, but it was amazing. We saw 100s of seals and sea otters. It was crazy!

On Friday afternoon we went to the Fisherman's Wharf and had fun snacking on the various fresh seafood cups that vendors sell. Then we got some amazing candied almonds and stuffed ourselves!

On our way back to our hotel we went to the San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo Mission (aka the Carmel Mission). It was gorgeous. Here are some pictures:

That night we went to Sapporo which is a hibachi type restaurant with an awesome view of the bay. It was a busy but fun day!
